Relief valves are always piped in parallel to the pump and are normally as close to the pump as possible. Step #2: Locate and remove the hydraulic hose on the system side of the relief valve. WebMay 7, 2024 · Replaced the hose and pushed hydraulic oil into the input line by removing the vent cap on top of hydraulic fluid reservoir putting about 35 lbs of air into reservoir while tractor ran and working the valve control to get pump primed it working again! I thought I was going to have to replace pump. But works as good as ever. 😊 Attachments

WebApr 18, 2024 · Replaced the hose from the pump to the controls as it started to bulge and then blew from the surges. Put a new hose connection on yesterday and the metal pipe at the bottom of the assembly rocks some from the surges now, worried the metal tube will eventually fatigue.
