My only gripe is that its a bit longer than I would prefer. I recently came across a bullpup stock conversion kit that I thought looked pretty cool. It also knocks about 1ft. off the total length of the rifle. WebThe only big danger issue that I know of in the SKS is the firing pin isn't spring driven and thus can slam fire if it gets gummed up, wouldn't increase danger in a bullpup though. That's not even necessarily true these days. You can pretty easily get a spring-driven pin now.
