WebThe proposed development is located 1.8km to the north east of a section of the Solent and Southampton Water SPA and Solent and Southampton Water Ramsar Site whilst the New Forest SPA and New Forest Ramsar site are approximately 8.5km to the south. A full list of the qualifying features for each site is provided at the end of this report. The Web5.1 Parts of Southampton Water are internationally designated. The Solent and Southampton Water SPA and RAMSAR site covers the southern and northern fringes of the character area.
